vocal + Talent Coaching
Vocal and Talent Coaching at Amplified.
In the Amplified Studios Vocal and Talent Coaching Program, we empower vocalists from all backgrounds to gain the technique and confidence necessary to refine their personal sound. Many vocalists feel frustrated finding success within the music industry on their own. With Alora’s pro-music vocal experience, she creates individualized programs with each student to get their voice heard. From vocal coaching to booking gigs, Alora equips artists with the tools for sustained success.
Alora - Vocal/Talent Coach
Alora’s Vocal Program
Alora’s teaching method is about using standard placement techniques to achieve effortlessness across all vocal styles. With a focus on control, dynamics, range, and breath, Alora strives to push students simultaneously out of and into their comfort zone. Additionally, Alora pushes for creativity and individuality in terms of genre stylization. This is done by helping all students (including songwriters!) to tap into the emotion behind each song and ask, how does what I’m singing impact how I perform?” Singing and music-making are implicitly emotional, and vocal coaching is about combining techniques (breathing techniques, endurance, projection, tone, and general vocal health) with a strong performance.
Alora also assists students with talent coaching. This includes the same vocal coaching program but has an additional focus on career development. Things that Alora helps with are: booking gigs, branding, stage performance technique, EPK (electronic press kit) asset creation, general content creation, and creative lifestyle planning. Whether the student wants to form a band, record and release music, tour, or perform locally, Alora provides strategy, tools, and routines to achieve the many goals vocalists have. The music industry moves fast, and it’s hard to know where to start, but you are far from alone! Alora’s clients range from industry professionals to beginners.
About Alora
Alora is the classic case of someone born to perform. Coming from a musical family, Alora began singing seriously for church, in her family band, and school programs throughout elementary school. By the time high school ended, she had been in multiple successful music projects in her small town outside of Portland and had competed in X-Factor and American Idol.

After graduating high school, Alora set out to discover her other passion: entrepreneurship. With her entrepreneurial spirit and a whole lot of ambition, Alora started her first business at 19, an online personal training platform where she created personalized fitness/nutrition plans. Over the next 5 years, Alora would successfully build and scale a Meal Preparation Service around the Pacific Northwest. After selling her business, she got back in touch with her musical roots and began her career as a vocal coach in San Diego and independent pro musician.
She now applies her knowledge in business towards her own music career, as well as helping other artists develop their own brand and path for success. One thing that is undeniable that she learned in music as well as in business is that there’s no use in trying to be anything you’re not. Where the rubber hits the road is -how do you refine who you already are in order to get your voice heard? Musicians ARE entrepreneurs, and learning about the business is the key to a long-lasting and enjoyable music career.
